Anyone else see Doc yelling at Lance? I wish I could hear what he was saying.

I can't watch this game but I'm keeping up with the score. Glad that we're keeping it close, could use a win here since we blew the game last night.

First half done.
For those not watching the game...
Griffin is back with no real concerns
POR started hack-a-DJ early so they will probably do the same in the 4th.
JJ started well but doesn't look 100% with most of his shots falling short.
Like usual, they are killing us on the boards when DJ sits.

This is embarrassing. Plumlee and Davis easily outplayed Blake and DJ.

Well, at least the Thunder, Spurs and Rockets lost too, there's your positivity.

Not a good loss, but yeah, I'm still not gonna enter into sky-is-falling mode, defo. It's a back to back against a solid team after a really hard game, and we have an easier schedule ahead of us.

Lance sucked by the way, he's either too timid and scared of f*cking up, or too wild thinking he's Michael f*cking Jordan here, dude has no middle ground. The bench pretty much sucks as much as last year too, even though some shots were going in tonight.

On the other hand, our core 4 are still as good as they ever been, just half-injured and rusty, so we´ll probably still be around a top 4 seed at the end. But don't see a way we can beat the Spurs or Warriors, the way things are going...

qrich regarding that last sentence^^^we beat the Spurs in the playoffs last year, and could easily be 2-0 vs the Warriors this year if we hadn't blown double digit leads in the last 5 minutes of both games.

I'm annoyed, but not to the point of being worried at all yet. It's still only November

True, they are both better teams than last year though, but yeah we could do something similar to last year yeah, I meant more with the way things are trending right now. But I fully agree with you matt

tough loss. I see lance lost out there. he is not getting it done on both ends and another poor free throw shooter. clips need to find a 5th starter soon. the defense was not good and that is a worry. fast guards are killing us and that includes cp3. dj appeared to no be interested and when the wings get screened off he has to be better. jamal is not an answer but who else do we have? I will try to stay positive but it is tough right now. my biggest concern is the coaching. I know Q says to be calm but this team has step it up.

I wouldn't say POR are a solid team. Back to back is no excuse. The only good thing is that it's still early in the season and we have time to improve. If we want a top 4 spot then we really need to win the games we are expected to win.

This is my biggest problem. We have a much better bench on paper but performance wise, we are dismal.

I don't think anyone is doubting that we will improve and finish the season in a somewhat respectable position. The problem is that we don't seem to be taking steps forward to reach next level of truly competing for a spot in the Finals.

not that lance can't play better, but doc sure isn't helping lance grow by screaming in his face while at the same time letting jamal get away with murder. so that might be one explanation why he seems hesitant or passive at times.
