i wonder if dj will ever start placing a higher priority on tip blocking rather than smashing every ball out of bounds.
Lights Out in the Fridge

According to Milph, the team got in at 3 am this morning and the players are complaining that the arena is cold tonight, then the lights go out.

it's cold and lights are flickering. staples center definitely haunted.
btw that rebound there from dj: i think that was the first time i've seen him outrebound 3+ guys in traffic so far this season, something he was doing with regularity last. i would like to see that be a regular thing again.

pierce is looking more mobile on offense than he has all season which is a good sign. but you still gotta make shots.
btw, lance is looking really active, which is great to see.
Lance a Lot of Activity

I agree about both Pierce and particularly Lance. He's making things happen out there right now. Josh Smith, on the other hand, is getting perimeter happy even though he's made a couple of good shots.
More Than Just Controlled Tip

I agree with Doc in that non-call of the "tip" by the Bucks going in the backcourt off the offensive rebound. Milwaukee's player had control of the ball by catching and throwing the ball with one hand in one motion. Refs should know better.

cp3's been uncharacteristically bad with TO's this season. normally some blips aren't that big a deal but when your bench is as TO happy as it is, it's pretty painful. weird to say but the bench has to be a little more shot happy sometimes rather than just passing to pass.

We're finally going to find out how much the Clippers need DJ.
Ranma, after three ejections, what are your thoughts on the conspiracy I theorized in the #BlameTheClippers thread?

I stepped away for the quarter to make something to eat, but I got back and looked through my Twitter feed to see what happened. It seems to me that DJ brought it upon himself. Yeah, I'm sure the Clippers' reputation doesn't help mattters and I'm sure the refs are already biased against us because they're fed up with the routine B-fest from the Clips, but I don't think there's a conspiracy by the NBA to undermine or expose the Clippers. Mainly because the Clippers are already doing themselves in, so there's really no need for the league to conspire against us outside of the biased agitation the referees already have.[tweet]https://twitter.com/FredKatz/status/677352800179851264[/tweet]

Mbah a Moute's activity and contributions that don't show up on the stat sheet are what winning teams have. We could use more of that. Has Doc finally gotten it yet?
