This Game Could Determine Their Future

Even if it's a December game, the Clippers have to prove they are ready. All they have to do is defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder to get a quality win. But that's not all they're fighting for.

The Clippers already have a three-game losing streak, and it happened at the beginning of the season with losses to GSW, POR and TOR. It's important not to get any more losing streaks. The more losing streaks the Clippers accumulate, the greater they will exit the playoffs in the 1st round.

No Austin Rivers or Paul Pierce?

Prigioni-Crawford-Lance-Smith-Aldrich all these guys FINALLY their natural position? YES!

except, I woud have Lance at 2 and Wes at 3. Prigioni and Jamal will chuck up whatever the shot they feel they deserve. that way at least when Lance has the ball he has options out in perimeter.

oh ****, I forgot all about Wesley Johnson.

Crawford-Lance-Wesley-Smith-Aldrich and i hope lance pushes the ball up court and handles it in the halfcourt

refs not doing too well to start. anyone be surprised if they lost the game for a team by the end?

lrm is looking really aggressive which is good in many ways for this team. if he can't contribute on offense then the starting unit is capped on its potential.

Cole comes in and immediately makes two big plays back to back.

why isn't josh smith playing with aldrich? i think the guy really needs minutes at PF to maximize what he's capable of

I agree. I don't get why Doc always does it half assed.

btw aldrich is like.. a lot better on the p/r than i thought he would be. in all honesty i've rarely seen him play but he dives pretty well, which is great when you pair him with guys like cp3/jamal/lance who make some very fast passes.

my guess is that doc can't break out of the mentality that josh smith is a C.

except he's not.

edit:

with some horror i've realized one possibility is that doc's not actually trying anything new and smith's just hurt.

Doc is a genius!! Who would have thought that putting Cole in to help us rebound would help?!

Still can't grasp why a big who can rebound and block shots hasn't gotten minutes this whole season

or Doc has a bitch mentality of blaming his own failures onto his players he asked to play out of their strength. he maybe blaming the failure of his bench in the first quarter squarely on Smith's inability to become Mike Dunleavy's Tim Thomas and Lance being unable to become a reliable spotup shooter while being a defensive stopper.

meanwhile, Jamal is still out there giving us 5 on 4 on defense, and taking LMAO shots on offense, killing our rhythm.

You should check some of his highlights from the Knicks last season, his skills are what the Clippers could use from a bench C
