hate getting old. can't stay up to watch games til the end for 7:30 starts and still get up and function at 7:00 AM at the office. I will probably watch until the end of 3rd q then hit the sac. looking at the schedule tho, we should be riding a 4 game winning streak into the game on next wednesday against the Thunder. going into that game with 40-19 record, with the Thunder going into a back to back away games followed by the weekend showdown against the GSW, we could potentially close the gap significantly.
anywho, go clippers, my son came home today with a clipper cap with the new logo. making generations of Clipper fans here in a small Oregon farm town... haha.

Good start, Suns obviously are a team whose talent has declined as the year as gone on with all the injuries

Jeff Green is known to be an inconsistent player. One minute, he plays like a superstar. The next, he's regressed to a scrub. Right now, he seems to be warming up against a lottery team. So it got me thinking:

Could it be that Green only plays well against lottery teams? That'll be my next research project.

you mean does he only produce against bad teams and not against good teams? wouldn't be surprised cause that's the sign of a bad/mediocre/average player, and mediocre to average is about where jeff green resides.

We had such a great 1st quarter just to struggle in the 2nd. I didn't expect us to keep it up, but I thought maybe we would have made a basket by now.

I kind of figured that we'd push it back to 14 by the half once the starters returned. Did a little better than that at 17. Hopefully the bench will have a better showing in the 2nd half.

Not so in sync with guys, but we've seen some of the things that make you feel he can be a good-ish player. He can slash to the basket as we know from his career. He's made some slashing plays off the dribble which of course no other SF on the Clippers is really capable of doing (well, Lance was, lol).

The bench struggled though, lol

He looks a lot better than he did in his first game. Hard to tell if that's because he's not up against Draymond / Iggy or because he's finding his feet. I like that he isn't scared to go to the rim.
