Jeff Ayres will fill out the roster as the 15th player. But apparently, one more will join the Clippers.

If a 16th player joins the Clippers, then one of two things becomes evident:

A. Branden Dawson may get bought out in light of the domestic abuse felony and recent arrest.
B. Blake Griffin has not healed to expectations, and is conceding to missing the rest of the reason, enabling a Disabled Players Exception in order to exceed the 15-man limit.

I think both tweets pertain to the same 15th spot on the roster. The first just said Doc will sign someone soon while the second likely just states that the announcement will come Wednesday. I guess it's possible that Dawson will be cut loose in light of his involvement in an alleged incident, but without knowing the details of the matter, it seems odd that we would cut him for someone who has yet to be picked up at this point.
