Lol. Congrats I suppose. First ever to win it 3 times.

Everyone's just focused on the task at hand, no time for these measly regular season awards.

It's cool that he got it a third time. Now all he's missing is a ring and a 50p game as a Clipper, then he can retire.

A Note On Sixth Man Awards

Post#4 » by Wammy Giveaway » Tue Apr 19, 2016 6:27 pm

Teams who have a Sixth Man award winner usually translate to an automatic playoff defeat. Playoff teams are 4-33 in championships won since its inception in the 1983 NBA Playoffs. This is a little different.

Because Crawford is the first person ever to accrue three Sixth Man awards (2010, 2014, 2016), it could end up being a lucky charm for their playoff run, or a protective shield to prevent the Clippers from losing in the 2nd round. Noted that their opponent is the Warriors in the 2nd round, Clippers will need all the lucky charms they can get.

LOL.

I figured most guys here hate having him on the team and celebrating it feels like enabling him (in a weird way).

Hey I'm happy that he won the award again. He's had a pretty good year, but I'm with everyone else. I'm focused with how well we do in the playoffs, I'm sure Jamal feels the same way. If he could somehow become a decent defender over night I'd be happy.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Wait....doesn't that just mean he was more trigger happy whenever he did touch the ball?

Anyways, good for him, Jamal is a great guy, he helped when Blake was out. Of course this has no barring on whether he's going to be a positive in the playoffs, especially as we anticipate a GS matchup, but it's still good for him.

Heh gotta love how everyone here is scared to compliment him in case he somehow reads this and feels enabled.

Congrats to him though, I'm honestly happy for him, and even though he started this year more horrible than ever, he actually contributed a lot to our offense maintaining afloat in the latter part of the season, he was actually a positive for once. A lot of the people laughing at him getting the award are either going by reputation or shallowly looking at his bball-ref page with no context. This year he was a real contributor when we needed someone to generate offense, which is all he's useful for nowadays.

Now that we have everyone back though, generating offense is not a problem anymore, and I'm kinda scared of him being himself in the playoffs again :-?
