“You never say you’ve been through everything, but we have been through a lot,” said Blake Griffin. “We’ve lost several different ways and we’ve lost tough series and we’ve lost when we’ve been up and when we felt like we should’ve won. We’ve also won tough series.”
The Clippers jumped out to a 2-0 series lead on Portland after dominating wins of at least 20 points apiece. Their focus is strictly on Game 3 entering Saturday night’s matchup, but the Clippers have a chance to do something Griffin’s never experienced if they can stomp on the Trail Blazers before giving them hope.
“I don’t think I’ve ever won a series that wasn’t a Game 7,” Griffin said. “That’s kind of the next step, closing out a series without using too much energy, without taking it to seven games, taking care of business when you do have a lead like this.”

Portland is obviously the "easiest" opponent the Clippers have played in the first round, well, any round after playing Memphis (41-25: 51 win pace), Memphis (56-26), Golden State (51-31) and San Antonio (55-27). So it would be a nice change of pace to win a series without going the whole distance, and that starts tonight.

So far, no player in the playoffs has been ejected from a game. We've had technical fouls, and a couple post flagrant foul calls.

Knew Jamal's disaster was gonna lead to a 3, no matter how McCollum threw it up there.
Still boggles my mind that Austin intentionally dribbles the clock out to preserve his shooting percentage.
I hate it when Superstars do that. I hate it even worse when a scrub like him does it.

I don't think that's what Austin is doing, I think Austin just doesn't know how to gauge how much time is on the clock

I don't get why we keep shooting ourselves in the foot. It's almost as if Doc wants to extend the series in order to make it harder on ourselves.

the confluence of doc sticking with all bench lineups, jamal chucking and being trash and doc not pulling him, jeff green being trash and people thinking he is somehow good... all of that is making me pretty pissed right now
