I really hope they put up a good fight. Highly unlikely, but if they could somehow get a win that would be such an emotional boost for them and the fan base.

For The Good Of The NBA

Following the sudden shocking losses of Paul and Griffin, and the ensuing Game 4 for the Blazers to tie, I predicted the Clippers must lose Game 5 to allow Portland to take the lead 3-2. My prediction was true.

Now is the time to strike.

All the Clippers needed was indisputable proof that they were going to be eliminated. Being down 3-2 was the key. With that now firmly in the back of their minds, I see them going out in blazing saddles to prevent getting bounced out. There's a lot at stake. Paul, Griffin and/or Jordan could be traded. The Clippers could be forced to a painful rebuild. There is a growing theory that the Clippers may never make the playoffs again after being eliminated because of the curse. And with the Warriors awaiting the winner of the first round, if the Clippers proclaim themselves the winners, they are destined for an automatic 2nd round exit. Their championship hopes are over.

Then fight for something else.

Fight for your friends, the people you like being around.

Fight for your family, the father you respect and the son you love.

Fight for your fans, give the NBA a Clippers-Warriors dream rematch, even if it's against the Resident Evil Clippers.

Fight to save Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan from being taken away by the rest of the league who is ever so eager to see the Clippers out of the playoffs once and for all.

The Clippers are in no danger of being contracted. But they gotta fight as if an elimination in the playoffs gives the NBA their right to extradite the franchise from the league altogether.

I'm not the superstitious type, but with everyone talking about how "cursed" we are, it's only right to balance the voodoo out a little bit -- the 'Lob City' Clippers have never lost a playoff game on April 29th (3-0) and they've never lost a game-7 (3-0). If everyone else gets to trumpet the negative hocus-pocus, then I get to run with it when it's positive.

We win tonight, then we win again on Sunday.

I'm hoping that we have a good effort and force a game 7. I got up really early so hopefully I don't fall asleep on the game.

Never know, they could pull it off. Starts with defending well enough, then getting some offensive production anywhere we can find it.

To be fair, Glenn Rivers has coached only the past 3 Clippers teams in the postseason including this one.

Why would it be a foul? It's not like he did it on purpose. It was an inadvertent elbow. No foul in my opinion.

no such thing as a curse.

Blake should have gotten the surgery as soon as he was injured after Christmas.

CP got his hand broken on an attempted foul where his hand got caught on opposing player's jersey. he should have have refrained. that was simply a bad decision and even a greater bad luck.

Austin got elbowed. should have been a foul. bench player getting elbowed with CP and Blake healthy, we would just say **** happens. it is circumstantial and don't get the resident voodoo doc "W" started.

anytime someone mentions the possibility that it's a curse i kind of think less of them.
