I just don't get the opinion of people who seem to think a player's legacy means nothing unless he wins the championship. Patrick Ewing, MIke Piazza, Warren Moon, Tim Brown, Bruce Smith, Ty Cobb, and so many others never won the championship game of their respective profession and yet they are still remembered for their greatness. then there are guys like Robert Horry and Steve Kerr.

and despite the lost time or whatnot, CP still has a shot to win it all, and even if he never does, he will be bigger than those names like Sam Cassell, Cat Mobley, Loy Vought, Eric Piatkowski, and Elton Brand when its all said and done. the trio we have now, CP/BG/DJ will be known as the men who brought this franchise out of obscurity and into prime spot light.
ehhhhh f it.

His legacy will take a hit in terms of what tier he can be put on without a championship, but no one is going to forget how great he was. I think he'll get a little more slack as well considering he's a pure PG.

Yup, and to add, John Stockon, Karl Malone, Kevin Johnson. Sure, championship boosts a legacy to some extent, but the idea that if you don't win a championship people just forget that you were a good player or something is very odd. Not to mention we're in a huge media age, we're not going to lose or have minimal footage of Paul and the great games he's had, etc.

Chris still has time to win a championship, his career isn't over yet. In reality it would seem unlikely this season, but you never know. A lot of things would have to go right for us to get to the championship. I'm still hopeful that we can make it with this group. Still waiting for Blake and Chris to go out of their minds in the playoffs, it would at least take that for us to have a deep playoff run.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Chris Paul is of the greatest PG all-time.
Hope he and Blake can stay healthy and give LAC a title.

Danny Chau, TheRinger.com (11/15/16)
Since the arrival of Chris Paul, Clippers games have been a worthwhile live sports experience, and I’d argue a truly underrated one. There is really something for every fan at every vantage point. There is a thrill to watching the games up close, where Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are essentially human Gundam soaring through the air. But even from the nosebleeds, Clippers games convey beauty: Only from that bird’s-eye perspective does CP3’s manipulation of the offense and defense truly snap into view. It’s like watching a chess simulation with spontaneous explosions, except way more exciting than that. What I’m trying to say is, it’s been a fun ride for Clippers fans, who are now a part of the core that has produced the longest streak of winning seasons in franchise history. This season, though, has been something altogether different.

Chris Paul Doesn’t Need Much Time to Dominate

i've heard over the years about some players getting lasik done and coming out with much better accuracy. sure hope that's a true thing cause then maybe his long range shooting will hold to 45%.
