man what a goodbye to the Palace. I remember when they first moved in and served a cold plate of revenge to the Lakers. what a great team that was. let's see if I remember correctly of that championship Pistons team...

Isaiah Thomas
Joe Dumars
Dennis Rodman
Rick Mahohn
Bill Laimbeer
Mark Aguirre
Vinny Johnson
John Salley
Buddah Edwards
Adrian Dantley
Darryl Dawkins

man I can't remember the rest but that was a one hell of a team.

well, consider this as an early eulogy for the Palace... what a history for the 'bad boys' and Larry Brown's team that won it all.

having said that, pardon me, Ducier, we are going to crush your pistons tonight.

did this team think they could just waltz into the game and have it be a cakewalk?

to be fair, Blake too is a coach's son and he had no idea how to shoot a free throw when he came into the league.

just saying that being a coach's son doesn't mean a ton nowadays. that's all.

they are both yeah but now austin's been in the league for a few years and he still can't box out. of anyone he should really understand it because his failure to do so lost us a critical game a couple years ago.

I think a part of it is that the rules of the game have changed so much. no more two hand check, no more backing down anyone for any prolonged time like Charles Barkley used to do, no preset centers and power forwards to bang with, and frankly, most of the low post game is now a thing of the past. aloing with the low post game, gone out the door the art of box out...

a lot of more prevalent skills have eroded but it's probably just easier to say that austin has a lack of awareness.

Starters are on the floor and they are still resorting to Jamal Crawford isolation.....

Redick is a beast this game though, KCP probably hates having to guard him. He's a good iso and 1v1 defender, but he hasn't seemed to figure out how to guard a guy like Redick who is constant motion

i usually don't try to make up narratives for why players have a bad game, since it just happens. but wtf, cp3 was awful.. was he more interested in the cowboys game yesterday than today's game? drink too much or eat too much? he was just bad on both ends.
