No Chris Paul so we'll see how this game goes tonight

At least we have a lead after the 1st quarter, our lead could have been bigger but we let the Lakers cut into it.

We're holding onto a 3 point lead at the half

We can't even beat the Lakers with this lineup. If Paul doesn't come back soon it's not impossible for this team to drop to the 7th seed. OKC is only 3 games behind.

This is like the absolute worst way we could start the 2nd half.

"No Paul No Blake" is no excuse for letting the lakers go on a 22-4 run.
Losses against Dallas and possibly the Lakers just show how clunky most of our role players are.
It looks as though our cp3-less roster have never played together before.

Doc still going small. There's no reason to have Crawford, Redick and Rivers on the floor at the same time. You are just asking to get abused on the glass and it's not like they are making it up on the offensive end.

I agree. Doc can't play the injury card to excuse these losses away. He put this roster together and every player sucks except for the stars he inherited when he got here. He needs to be fired immediately! If Ballmer doesn't do something, he doesn't care about winning.

This just makes you realize an uninspired, passive Chris Paul is still one of the most talented PGs of all time.

All I can say is let's just wait and see what happens in the 4th. Kinda wish I would have fallen asleep so I didn't have to watch that quarter.

Trying to find something positive...
I really hope we keep Luc, Fetlon, Mo and Bass

Redick now out with the hamstring. This is getting comical. It's just not our season.

It seriously might be time. Even ignoring the strengths and weaknesses of CP3 and Blake, look at how useless the rest of this roster is. We'll never get past Round 2 in the West like this, and we have no cap space or assets to improve. First step of the rebuild needs to be firing Doc before he does any more damage to our future.

So much for that 2nd half. Guess I'll just wait for the Clippers to get a tab better and healthier. Based on what I've seen with the starters recent;y, I'm sure when we'll win again.

There is no point anymore our two main stars are heavily injury prone Blake and Paul are only going to get worse. DJ is a support player he's not going to win many games being the last guy standing. Everyone else on this team is a one dimensional terrible athlete we are going to suck. We don't have any two way players and our wings suck. Our coach is a javkass and his system is as tired and predictable as ever and not to mention the team has a lack of maturity reflected by his leadership.

This team isn't fun to watch and won't be successful. I truly believe last year was our best shot and Doc and his ego cost us the year not bringing that squad together.

This team doesn't need a rebuild. They just need to hang on for their stars to get healthy. This is as close to a team that can make it to the WCF we're ever going to have in the near foreseeable future. That's the reality of it. CP3 has been out 2 games. It's not like he tore his achilles. We could use a new coach and GM though. One that won't keep signing Jamal Crawford and keep playing his own son at SF/PF. One that can call plays other than Crawford one on one every trip down.

The offseason will dictate where this team is headed because Griffin could just bail regardless. For now, it's hang on for dear life until the starters are back.

These are the games where coaching decisions will be needed to make the difference and so far Doc hasn't come through. Now losing with this group is fine, they aren't a good team with both the two best players out, but they have two more games against "meh" teams and if they go 0-4, that's not acceptable for a coach and you need to really look in the mirror as a coach.
