Starting line up Cannot create their own shot
Docs line up is horrible No one in the line up can create their own Shot Luke,jj, Austin,Pierce and DJ are you kidding me? We're all going to sit here and act like we don't see Doc starting his son after giving him a like Max contract for a player of his caliber Doc has a excuse every year and is taking advantage of ballmer and needs to finally be called out this team is a joke to the NBA now.

Doc Overrated
This just feeds the criticism I've had about Doc not being a winner unless he has really good players to coach. He certainly is not a coach you want building a team or developing players.
If he was such a good coach, he'd have our team at least being competitive. Other teams have learned to play without their star players and even teams without star players can win a few games, so maybe Doc should show us what he's got since he's built this roster. Of course, he'll not make excuses while really making them in citing that this team is without both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, two players that were here before he arrived. Reap what you sow, Rivers.
His replacement in Boston, Brad Stevens, did a great job with the young Celtics making progress while we've been stagnant and now may be moving backwards in some respects.

Re: Starting line up Cannot create their own shot
Do we expect our team to be above average without our stars? No. However we lost 4 straight games to the bottom 4 teams of the WC and quite frankly we aren't competing. Even if one of our role players has a break out game, we are still leaking way too many points to win games.
I'm the first to admit that Doc was my second favourite coach to Pop when he was at the Celtics but clearly he lacks some of the fundamentals of coaching and player development. In his time at LA, we've only seen one player develop (DJ) which I think was more motivational on his part and assistant coaches helped with his FTs. The fact that no one has been able to teach DJ a few post moves is crazy considering his athleticism.
I also realise that not every move will work out but besides JJ, I can't think of many positive ones. Moves I thought would help us, ended up questionable because of his bad coaching. Did anyone expect Josh Smith to be a competitive center? Austin was a questionable acquisition but I saw the value in having a downhill guard... Then we gave him a horrendous contract we won't be able to move and that's not great for a team in win now mode. I'm open to a three-guard lineup but seriously, one can't be Austin.

Re: Starting line up Cannot create their own shot
I agree totally and I said exactly this in the game post. this starting group is only going to be ok if they remained committed to playing team ball. good screening, passing, and finding the open man. aau type play will only work if you are LeBron, harden, westbrook, etc. we obviously do not have one of those at this time or have anyone committed to the above. the losses will continue to pile up until some changes are made.
