This will be an important game. If the Clippers win, they tie Utah in record and they have an easier remaining schedule. A win for Utah puts them a little further ahead of the Clippers. I'd say that this is a must win for the Clippers, so it will be interesting to see how they come out.

well at this moment of second quarter with 6 minutes to go, we are currently up by 8.

we really need to win this game and get our **** together to gain some momentum and most importantly, our defense.

I saw that we have no picks in this year's draft... we don't have a future, we only have right now. we better get it together to win... right now. if we have a 3 year window, it will have to do without any real significant contrbution from rooks and the guys we have that were on the roster from this year's opening day will have to get it done.
ehhhhh f it.

Austin and CP are doing it big right now. Let's hope someone else can also get into the groove to help out

Based on where we usually pick, it's not that likely we'd get anyone to contribute significantly through the draft (depending on how significant you mean). The Clippers can look to trades as a means to add some more young talent. Even trading a player that's good like Redick for example.

There's also the option of doing something like buying a 2nd round pick too.

Steve is is rich, I hope we buy a second rounder.

we need to keep feeding outselves of young talents whether Doc uses them or not. our roster cannot go depleted of players under the age of 25 for a long periods of time and expect continued success.

I think Doc will use them if they are good. Clippers haven't really drafted any player that was worth playing much. Don't forget that we do have Johnson and Stone who will likely be in position to get more minutes / a greater role next season. At least Johnson, Stone I'm not sure, we'll see.

Took me awhile to find a stream. I was able to see some of the game just before the half ended. I'm glad that we have a lead.

stone has a smooth J and he can contribute, if used correctly and taught some goddamn defense. Johnson, I think has a shot to be a solid rotational player but he seems a bit of a tweener. I don't think that is necesarily a bad thing in today's NBA tho.

but we sure can use a couple more of young players under 25 who can give us some balance to this aging roster.

I know everyone is thinking it, but Blake is kind of hurting the team right now

Is he sick or something?

Needed to score that last possession. Austin was getting to the basket against them earlier, no need to always shoot the three

Anyone else concerned about Paul's low assist numbers lately?

They're connected to each other. That's my point. It's not necessarily Paul. Blake not getting points like means he's not getting set up by Paul. Or you could say Paul not getting assists likely means Blake is not executing.
