So, another starting point guard has risen to the ranks of Clippers interest...

Derrick Rose would follow the Rajon Rondo route: a veterans minimum exhibition for other teams to scout on.

From CP3 to Rose in 1 season. Someone hand me the stuff under the kitchen sink.

Inb4 "Rose's won an MVP"

If these are our only 2 options, get the Rondo deal done and done NOW.

Some Clipper fans echo your sentiments, Neddy...

Both Rondo and Rose have off-the-court issues, Rondo with being a bad teammate and Rose's sexual assault case. Great players but troublemakers. In fact, I illustrated this on a podcast some time ago...

Wammy Giveaway wrote:Ron Harper was under surveillance because one of his friends was involved in trafficking. The Cavaliers traded him to avoid controversy ... The Clippers as a hapless franchise made them a dumping ground for players who were draft busts, troublemakers, injury-prone, in the twilight of their careers, or just an NBA enigma.

seriously? Rose? why?
let's forget all the off the court issues for a second.. what has he shown in the last couple of years that makes anyone think that he would be a valuable signing? He is can't be a back-up guard on a contending team, yet alone run the point for us.
add all the allegations and injury history to that: NO THANK YOU!

He played well vs the Doc coached Celtics 6 or 7 years ago, isn't that the criteria?

I would imagine that he'd be brought in to replace some of the scoring lost with the departure of Reddick. Beverly is more suited to run the point, and especially defend it. Or start Williams at the 2 and use Rose as a 6th man. With this being his 3rd team in 3 years he really doesn't have the luxury of defining his role anymore.

rapist or not, he can't shoot the 3 ball to spread the floor.

of course being a rapist is worse, but I genuinely forgot about that all together until Lucas Hahn's post/tweet reminded me of it. we should protest in front of Docs office or during the summer league games to make the Clipper brass understand how we feel about bringing a sub 25% 3 point shooter who is another ball dominant guard, who may rape their daughters.

I hope this is just for entertaining. The last type of player we need is D.Rose.
