Clips have no other choice but to rev up their offense from the very start and never relinquish it. Seven Seconds Or Less, Mike D'Antoni-Steve Nash Phoenix Suns 2.0 is their only hope.
Having said that, if there's any defense the Clips need to prioritize, it's the 3-point line. From the start to the 5 minute mark in the 4th quarter, give up preventing the 2s, prevent the 3s. The only time Clips should contest both 2s and 3s should be in crunch time, especially during a Sudden Death Shot. The shots allowed could vary from opponent to opponent, except the Warriors for they can make anything against them.
We looked great but Lowry was out. I think we can score our way to the playoffs, but against real contenders, I agree defending the perimeter is key, and we haven't so far. The Achilles heel is going to be when the opps have a killer guard tandem--GSW, HOU, even POR. I don't know how we're going to score without Milos QBing the team; OTOH I don't know how we're going to stop anybody when he is. [Blake and Gallo are no help on the perimeter either.]
