I forgot there was a game today. This game, if we hold on, isn't even a band aid to my Dodger wound.

I quickly thought "Ok, World Series is over. Maybe the Clippers to the Finals"? Then I remembered that the Warriors exist.

What has gone on with the Mavericks since their championship? They couldn't even reach the Clipper status (50+ wins, 2nd round exit). They have been a treadmill team ever since

Gallo feels like he is more like a third option.

Wish we could've had him when CP was still here.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I can only imagine how much better we would've been with Gallo instead of JJ. JJ was good for us but a big small forward who can drive and shoot is a better recipe for success for a deadly spot-up shooter.

Was at the game tonight. Got section 111 tickets for only $40 each!
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

So far he is only showing his game in flashes. Not sure if its by design or just him being unselfish trying to fit in. Gallo should be this teams 2nd option easy. He is onr of the best in the NBA at getting to the line and making them but on the Clippers he has stayed outside a lot (too much) to spread out the offense. Gallo can drive to the hoop and post up much more but he is only touching the ball a few times a quarter. Maybe the finger is still healing? I dont know. Gallo should not just be shooting 3s.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

More on the Gallo point. He has averaged around 5-6 FT for years. Now he is at 3. He is near automatic from the FT line. You add in 3 more FT a game and that already brings him up to 17ppg. I expect him to get better and better as the season progresses assuming his finger is healed fully. The finger is my only major concern.

I think he will improve as the season goes on. The broken hand may just need to heal to 100%. He's shot better the last 2 games, so that's encouraging. The passing ability is still there though, that no-look bounce pass to Montrezl was NICE.
