Not bad so far. AD doesn't put up much resistance to post position, so Blake is getting the ball in good spots tonight, much closer to the basket.

How did Cousins think he would get away with that one though?

Clippers can't take advantage of the Pelicans turnover issues. Good to see Blake more aggressive tonight, not the best shooting night, but he's leading the charge

Not bad, not good. Blake and Austin especially [5-9 on 3s] kept us in it, but there just wasn't enough talent on the floor. 3 of our top 6 guys are out, after all. At least we didn't die like dogs.

Pelicans really tried to help with their turnovers, would have been a blowout if they didn't have 23 turns. The talent is lacking, a lot of guys out now, so a little surprising we aren't using Dekker, but is Dekker better than Thornwell? That's actually arguable with how Thornwell has played. Hard to argue with Doc giving the rooks good minutes.

Even when guys get back, the team is going to need to have a better game plan for late-game offense as just isolating Blake, that's not his game. That early season game winner was just one shot, and the history and other games are saying that Blake is still not refined enough to be a consistent go to guy like that.

Clearly Dekker has not shown Doc what he wants to see on defense. This is not Dekker's fault necessarily, since his only year of NBA tutelage was playing under Mike D'Antoni.

There is no D in D'Antoni.

I hope I don't have to wait too long for a win. Wish we would have beat Miami last week. I know we have injuries, but losing still isn't fun. The only bright side to this is that it's still early in the season and we still have plenty of chances for some wins once we have some key guys playing again.
