Hoping tonight we finally end our losing streak. I heard that Patrick Beverly is coming back so that should help the defense at least.

Are there legit sources tbat suggest that Doc is actually in the hot seat? This losing streak is not excusable whatsoever.

4 out of the 5 guys on the starting unit can't make plays for anyone other than themselves, and one guy can't make a play outside of 2 feet of the basket. Too easy to defend when the other team already knows what you're going to do because of your limitations.

Would he have re-signed if Doc was fired? I'm trying to get over it but I need to know if there was even a chance of him coming back.

Paying him over $200 million in his 30s for more first-round exits would have been a LOT more depressing than this. We are headed towards at least a top five pick in the most stacked draft since 2003 - there's far worse situations to be in.

my theory is the problem was Blake and DJ eating up the rest of the sal cap

Add to this that we suck on defense and I'm not really sure what the plan to win games is. Basically Blake would need to develop into an elite playmaker or elite iso scorer, neither of which is his game.

Well, he doesn't want us back, so too bad. As sucky as this is, if the losing really does continue, and I'm really having a hard time believing this team is playing this poorly and that Blake is playing so poorly, but if it continues, we can draft a franchise talent assuming we get into the top 3. Blake can be a 2nd option / secondary playmaker, and this team has the type of talent (well, at least we thought they did) that if they add a great young player, they can be really good.

If that becomes the case, then the team really needs to be shopping a lot of guys to maximize draft picks and young players (Rivers, Jordan, Williams, Beverley).

somehow we keep managing to play worse than the previous game each time. But I don't like this tank talk. Why?
When you lose a guy like CP3, who dominates the ball, makes the plays and directs every aspect of your offense and defense, you are a new team. We can figure it out, and we are only 4.5 games behind the 4th spot in the west.
We have a talented roster.
But I do not have confidence that Doc can lead this team. I would much rather have us bring in someone like Ettore Messina or gamble with someone like Brent Barry.
