dude, in this game Austin played like a beast with his efficiency. of course, playmaking vs shooting selection was questionable at times, such as that time when we had a fastbreak chance off of a steal, 2 on 1 break, Austin opted to lean into Wes' lane with about 10-12 feet before the basket in order to make his layup move which he ended up missing, putting both offensive players on the same side from the lone defensive player... rather than making the right basketball move by moving away from Wes and the defender, which for Austin it was to his left, to create a passing lane for your bread and butter 2 on 1 fbreak. oh well. but overall, his shooting efficiency is concerned, wow. at least tonight, he was real good. looked as a borderline starter in this league who has a tunnel vision ain't worth **** for court vision but has a nice touch when in rhythm and tonight, he showed he can stay hot over the whole game from the outside, dare I say a JJ like performance at least from the 3. adding 5R and 5A was a nice finish. JJ used to be one of the very last in rebounding the ball in the league among all players, and not just among the 2 guards.
at least for tonight, Austin was our best offensive player for our team. there, I said it.
