Guess we'll see how we look tonight. We won't have any of the new guys so I hope we can be competitive against the Blazers.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Not bad so far. Good to see Gallo back, but keeping it close at half

Hope all the people who have spent all day justifying the Blake trade are watching this pitiful performance right now. Gee, it's almost as if a lot of our flaws were being covered up by the presence of a legitimate superstar!

I'll take the liberty of quoting LA Times' Bill Plasche:

"Remember when the Dodgers' Andrew Friedman made his first big splash as baseball boss three years ago by trading Matt Kemp in a controversial move that helped them build a pennant winner? This feels a lot like that.
As a star, Griffin was fun. But as a foundation, he was shaky.
You could cheer for him, but you couldn't build on him. He was great in commercials, but struggled in fourth quarters. His dunks were breathtaking, but so were his debacles.
He never should have been made the cornerstone. He was always just a supporting player.
During one of his hot streaks, I once wrote a column saying this was his team, and smart fans roasted me for it, and they were right."

Anyway, this sluggish game is getting interesting. I love the push our new-look team is making.

Even Lou hates this trade. And Lou liked everything about being a Clipper too.
I root for players always, organizations sometimes.

I don't know how I'm ever going to forgive the Clippers' new front office.

The team is 8-8 without him as well. This ragtag team has had quite a few impressive wins with a bare cupboard. Tonight's not one of those nights, it happens.

And BTW, I love Blake. Always will.

Nah, I don't think it has much to do with that particulae trade. As much as players thinking "Am I gonna be traded next?", this just wasn't his night.... I mean everybody has a bad night every now and then.

He definitely didn't look himself to me tonight. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. We just had to try and find out the hard way though, huh

DJ has looked checked out mentally for a while now and he's always been one of the most energetic, hard-working players on the team. I don't blame him. Also, think Lou is as eager to resign now?

Keep this revolving door going and eventually you'll reach a tipping point.

There's a big difference between then and now. For that 8-8 record, everyone knew Blake was coming back eventually. That's obviously not the case now.

For a team that was very shorthanded they looked pretty good. I do not know if it is the plan but I think they could still make the playoffs if they have any luck.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Held them under 40% from the field but they hit almost 40% from distance, that was the difference. Avery and Austin are plus perimeter defenders. All is not lost.
