In the midst of trade talks surrounding DJ, I started a petition....
Now, I know some of you won't sign it, because you believe we don't need DJ. And that's fine, difference of opinion. I respect that.

However, for the rest -- Join me in this cause and let's show Ballmer and Doc that On This TEAM We Fight For Our Valuable Players!! 8-) So without further ado, go and help make them hear your voice:

I really fear the damage has been done already, and especially with the Blake trade I don't see potential contract negotiations being easy, but here's hoping as a fan.

I have no idea what the market is for a 20th century Wes Unseld type at $25M+. But I guess there's another Marc Cuban out there someplace.

Hard to see a home out there for DJ if he opts out. There are only 9 teams with room to sign anyone over $15M and DJ's guaranteed $24M if he stays. Certainly not a home anywhere for Austin, who's already making $12.6M and would be lucky to get someone's MLE for much less in a buyer's market. There's also a player's option on Milos for $6.3M, and although there's been friction with Doc over his sometimes lax play, I dunno if there's an MLE out there for him either.
