You got to win this-one if you want to see playoffs. Terrible first quarter.
And I had to take the odd for Clippers victory which was 6.5 at the moment when clippers are down 14 points. I think it is worth it.

Brian Sieman just noted the Clips have been top 4 offensively and defensively in the 4thQ over the past 30 games. Clippers down by 14 in the 3rd--determined to test their luck.

If they cut it under lets say 7 before the 4thQ I am confident in my bet.

If Rivers just made that three in last second of the 3rdQ it would be much easier in the final qtr.

Get close, but Sixers keep pulling away. Rivers making that 3 would definitely have helped. 4 point game now, let's go!

Hope Embiid is okay, guy gets injured too much

Yeah Ty Wallace proved to be such a valuable player, such a beast in defense , he just needs to improve his play making, but he is young and he has plenty of time for that . Clippers now close to take the lead, every foul from 76ers will result in FT. It will be tough for Philadelphia to defend and LA just need to play smart without some stupid mistakes, they can design a win from this position.

I like Wallace too. But like Avery he just can't shoot.

Clippers were down 4 with plenty of time left and they had their opponent in bonus, they just needed to be aggressive and attack the basket, instead they lost some possessions and than start to shoot 3 after 3 like there is no time left, I don't get it.

Supposedly he's playing hurt. I like him but he's redundant with Pat Bev and Austin if he doesn't opt out. He's an UFA this summer and even in a buyer's market I think somebody will throw him the big payday, at least more than we should.

IF he gets his shot back.

Yea, we can only have so many undersized, essentially 3/D SG's, though Austin doesn't do as much of the defense part anymore. The team should definitely be looking to get bigger and longer at the guard spots, can't make the same mistake as the previous era Clippers with just not enough size and length at the guard positions.

We're still a pick-up team. We actually had not much chance to play defense because we fumbled the ball away and gave them easy baskets at the other end.

76ers are my hometown team and I still follow them but I realize I'm a Clippers fan all the way. This sucked. Austin and Tobias were a combined 1-13 from 3 and DeAndre [21 rebs] and Lou [23 pts] were a team-worst minus-18 and minus-22 respectively.

And that's the name of that tune. It was a team loss.

I agree. Austin's utility depends on remaining a 40% 3-pt shooter. Otherwise he's just a guy.

I like Pat Bev and Avery better for their D, but you can't start both as a backcourt that can't stretch the floor. They can't shoot like Austin can from distance, and he is also a better slasher to the hoop--and per your observation, at 6'4" is bigger and longer than Avery [6'2"] and Pat Bev [6'0"]--neither of whom can play the 3 even in small ball.

Very disappointing to see the return of blatant nepotism. Austin gets all the minutes in the world to chuck as many bricks as he wants, but Ty Wallace only gets 15 minutes, Montrezl only gets 11 and Boban doesn't get any playing time at all. This team is in desperate need of a real coach.

And how do you estimate Clippers chance for playoffs and eventual chances in playoffs ?

Teodosic today gave interview where he confirmed his confidence in team saying that he is pretty sure team will be in playoffs.

"We will finish strong and qualify for playoffs. We have new players which give us versatility on the court. We are also gradually recovering from injuries, we are making progress in sense of understanding what we are doing at the court."

"It's never nice to see injured teammate. But that what happened opened for us several possibilities in which different players were getting chances, which would have never happened otherwise."

The fact that we can count on contribution from everyone improved chemistry of the team. This is team with lot of personalities. I am having a lot of fun with the team. I am happy with my decision during summer to sign up for Clippers.I am enjoying in every moment here. It is great that I can compete with the best players in the world
" Teodosic concluded.

Austin was minus-5 in 34 min

Gallinari 40 min/minus-11
Harris 38 min/minus-18
DJ -30 min/minus-18

Lou 32 min/minus-22

plus/minus isn't everything
I don't blame Lou
but Ty Wallace is not the answer to any question

yes Austin had a crap game on a back-to-back coming off injury
but so did everyone else
this was a team loss
