Boban won't be useful against Rockets. In fact, he could end up working in favor of the Clipper's opponent. Boban is best suited against slow paced teams. Rockets are above average, 11th in pace with 100.24, per NBA Stats.

Strangely enough, Clippers are at 6th with 101.13, but their defense is lukewarm: 17th with 106.5 versus Rockets 104.5 at 10th.

Yeah, not really feeling this one. Rockets will be as fired up as it gets after last time, plus they're at full strength. We're coming off a tough road win, and will be missing Wallace (sign him already!), on top of everyone else.

Biggest win of the season by far if we do somehow get it.

Why isn't getting Ty Wallace a real contract first priority right now?? If he eventually ends up on another team and ballin' out I'm going to be pissed!! :curse:

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised at this point if that happens. The Clippers don't value any young players who aren't named Rivers. :noway:

This franchise could screw up a wet dream. It's crazy how lifelong fans of this team are acting like the book is closed on the Blake trade and this rebuild couldn't possibly fail.

Well when Boban played last time against Houston this is what happened. With the Rockets’ three primary big men all playing very little, the green light was given for the Pistons’ two big men, Andre Drummond and the Man, the Myth, the Legend Boban Marjanovic. Drummond was in foul trouble most of the game and only played 20 minutes, which gave Marjanovic more playing time and a mismatch on Montrezl Harrell, where he has a six-inch advantage. Marjanovic had a career-high 27 points and 12 rebounds and lead the team to victory. Montrezl Harrell will today play together with Boban against his former team and Clint Capela will try to guard him. Clint Capela is 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m) compared to Marjanovic 7 ft 3 in (2.21 m), size is not crutially important but is a huge factor, specially if there is a big difference like here. Harrell and Boban are perfect combo as Montrezl can cover for Boban's slow ass on D and Boban can be a real center while Harrell plays PF. If I were Doc Rivers I would use them in that way. Pace will be the problem for Boban I agree there but isn't Denver style similar to Houston style, lot of ball movement and perimeter shooting.
The biggest problem will be for Teodosic , he can't guard a tree ,let alone CP3. Paul managed to embarrass Teo by breaking his ankles and throwing ball through his legs . Paul is also good ball thief, recording steals every game, interestingly this season only 1.8 per game which is his worst number since 2006-2007 season. Poor Milos, imagine him "staying" on Harden after switch . Houston will surelly look to take advantage of those situations as much as possible. Milos stayed calm , last time he met with CP3 and he was the last to laugh as Clippers managed to grab important win back than. I remember well their last meeting and Houston was without Harden in that game and now who will watch over the beard ? Nobody can stop Harden and that is why I impatiently wait for tonight's game, not to see James Harden demolishing my favorite NBA team but to see playoff type of a game.
Clippers managed to stole that win but now when Beard is here , he will make the difference, I just hope it will not be his average points per game difference as it is clear that Houston will look from the start to cut off Clippers heads figuratively speaking. Also I hope that refs will perform honestly and well.

Who is the best option for Doc to put on Harden, what do you think guys?
I say it is combo of Tyrone Wallace and Wesley Johnson .

Yikes.

Talk about getting punched in the mouth to start the game.

Good to know Wes can still waste a roster spot and it's all cool, but we can't sign Ty Wallace.

If his name was Ty Rivers, we'd have given him a max contract by now. :noway:

Hmm, well at least Harrell is beating guys up, but this is quite the struggle. That first quarter was just, wow...

Harrell is only LAC player who has a good game so far.
