Off to a solid start, despite the turnovers. Trez ending the quarter with a buzzer beating three just for kicks.

The team was playing really well without a certain player, so Doc of course has to ruin it by subbing said player back in. And, right on cue, our offense grinds to a halt and the lead shrinks.

Doc really should put Thornwell on Dipo....neither Austin nor Wallace can guard Dipo...

Clippers up by double-digits, clicking in all phases. Doc inserts a certain player. Clippers suddenly stop moving the ball, stop scoring, stop playing defense, and finish the half with only a slim one-point lead.

But don't worry, I'm sure this is everyone else's fault somehow.

no everything's Austin's fault

Austin minus-4

DJ minus-7
Tobias minus-7

the thing about plus/minus is our bench built up good plus+ numbers but when their starters come back in, it's a different ballgame

but you have to actually watch the game to know that
basically Oladipo got hot
he's a very good player

man, u sure are in Rivers' payroll.... lol
either Austin or Wallace should give some minutes to Thornwell, just for defending Dipo alone

Those of us actually watching the game see that Tobias has been carrying us so far. Meanwhile, a certain player has destroyed the flow of the offense with aimless spin moves, overdribbling and turnovers while getting torched on defense.

Ty just did an excellent job defending Oladipo on multiple drives.

At last, a fact!! Good you're finally watching the whole game. Austin guarded Oladipo very little in the 1st half. And Oladipo hit some shots despite adequate defense.

It happens. He's a very good player.

ADD: Austin warming up, sticks his second 3 of the half. Our 2nd leading scorer with 13 points, with 5 assists.

LATE ADD: Another 3--16 points!

LATER ADD: 18 points

"At last"? No, I've been posting facts the whole time. Facts are facts regardless of whether or not they suit your narrative.

Yeah, Austin made a couple threes. Still doesn't make up for him bringing the Pacers back into the game and giving them momentum to begin with.

Ty Wallace just continues to prove that he deserves a real contract.

Actually three 3s, 11 points in the period.

Cheering against your own team. How perverse.

No, I'm cheering *for* my team. That means wanting what's best for the team, such as the most deserving players getting the most minutes.

Harrell gives us so much more on offense compared to DJ it's not even funny.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
