Our defense is putrid. Just another reason to pray that Doc takes the Knicks or Bucks job.

Ty Wallace has been carrying us. He's "just a D-Leaguer," though.

I love how its a do or die game, last chance for playoff ticket.. And Lou Williams rather protects his fg% and stats than to try a full court shot. **** players like these, i dont care if you score 30 a game thats why you never been a winner and never will be.

Played as bad as possible but still only down by 8 at the half. Letting the Nugs shoot 64% and we're only shooting 40% and also missed 10 FTs.
Ty with great hustle on D and Austin with two key 3s in the 2ndQ to keep us in it so far. DJ with a double-double already but Jokic is eating him up.
Lou and Tobias are a combined 3-17. They're due, right?

If Boban pulls off another huge comeback against Denver, they should be required to change their name to the Denver Bobans. And retire Boban's Clippers jersey just like the Heat retired Jordan's Bulls jersey.

Tyrone Wallace might be one of the better G League finds in a while

Lou is currently bringing us back into this game, but yeah, sure. If only he was a "winner" like DeRozan and Lowry.

What a stupid argument, whats Derozan and Lowry got to so with that? If you would be his coach, are you ok with players caring more about their stats than actually winning the damn game? But ok, lets play your game, Lou Williams is now in his 13th season as an NBA player and only got to play in the playoffs 3 times. And all 3 times his teams dumped him after that. Coincidence right?

Good season...... u can tell Doc is developing his son hard, but u can't let Austin play like that...he has no business to play that many minutes... the Kid has no energy on defense, no energy on offense at the end too...

Tough loss, but most of this team overachieved and fought hard this year, so I can't be too mad about that. In reality, it was over when we had that nine-game losing streak early on in the season.
It's time for the Clippers to focus on finding the next great coach and drafting two future cornerstones in the lottery.

man
i know that being in the lotto and having extra rank on our pick is better
but i really, really, really wanted the team to make the playoffs. they really deserved it.

Don McLean also thought they ran out of gas, but there was no alternative to playing Tobias, Austin and Lou that many minutes the past 5 or 10 games. Tobias is our only frontcourt scorer, and only Lou and Austin can play the point--and if you want Lou to concentrate on scoring, you can't ask him to play the point too. [Austin finishes with 9 assists and barely shot in the 2nd half. His job was to free up Lou to score and it worked.]

So my record prediction was way off. 20-62? It's now 42-38.
But unfortunately, the Clippers will now miss the playoffs.
I was right about the general outcome. You were right about the record.
Wanna call it even?

he had no energy to get his shots off... Doc was playing him like 20 minutes straight... u can't do that, at least give the kid a breath...
Austin played no defense the whole season whatsoever... we get it, offense gets paid in this league... but u need to play defense to be a viable player....wrong development

The injuries and lack of star talent finally caught up to us.

We don't have any point guards. You want Lou to score, Austin has to be out there to take the load. As for his defense, you're entitled to your opinion but why every single thread turns into an Austin-bash I do not know. Tobias was just as spent, and had an even worse game [6-19]. But just as in Austin's case at PG [a creditable 9 assists/3 TOs], we have no SFs half as good as Tobias.
In the end, it was depth that killed us. We lost 4 guards for the season, and 2 of them were true PGs. Even Jawun would have come in handy. And at SF, it's a shame Sam has turned out to be such a bust. We don't need him at PF with Trezz around and at SF, with no 3-point shot, he's just another lane-clogger. I like Sindarius but he's just not a 3 either and at the 2, Ty rightfully took his minutes.
And don't get me wrong, I like Ty, but he's a SG who just can't S [29% from distance and only 25% in G-League]. Tobias, Austin, and Lou also play all those minutes because they're the only ones who can shoot. You just can't send 5 guys out there who can't stretch the floor.

If you actually watched the team this season you’d know that Lou was the single biggest reason why they even had a chance to make the playoffs
