I think that's very possible. If the Clips have a 1st to dangle for taking on his expiring, a deal will happen.

I don’t even think it will take a first round pick. The key—and it’s a big hold yer breath thing—is how healthy he will be this year. Fact is, Gallo’s contract starts to make the move from being a liability to neutral this season. He’s an expiring contract in 2019/20. If he plays 35+ games through the break at the effectiveness he had in previous seasons, his contract isn’t that much of a problem. You could package him with Lou or AB (if Bradley plays to his previous level) to get at least one expiring deal that would represent a lot less money on the books in the 2019 offseason. That’s how I see Clips management handling this.

if he hadn't protected it you anti-Doc d-baggers would have a point

The future pick the Clippers sent to Memphis is lottery protected in 2019 and 2020. If the Clippers are in the lottery both years, it becomes a second-round pick for the Grizzlies in 2022.

a non-lottery pick, or a SRP in 2022

that wasn't directed at me was it? the Jeff Green trade sucked but I've always said at least he didn't mortgage the future like Miami or Memphis did at that time.

But no one was talking about Doc for once? isn't there like a lot of stuff to talk about after media day other than the same old Doc drivel?

I'd rather have a good season and give Boston the damned pick already, hopefully around #20, which is crap anyway

and if we collapse, yeah, something in the top 10 would be cool too
