The Clips have covered the last 6 at home including a big win over the Warriors last out. LA has covered in 4 of 5 after allowing 115 or more and the home team is 7-3 ats in this series. The Spurs have lost and failed to cover both times vs winning teams and are a dismal 1-10 ats on the road vs a team with a winning home record dating to last season. With the winning team in this series checking in at 23-1 ats. The San Antonio Spurs are just a mess right now, losing four of their last five games and just getting rocked last night against the Phoenix Suns. The Los Angeles Clippers have been the surprise team and are outscoring teams by 8.6 points at home this season. The Spurs are having issues scoring and playing on the end of a back to back won't help matters.
Everything points out to LAC win here , still it is SA Spurs we are talking about. Serbian newspapers reported few days ago how Gregg Popovich, one of the best American basketball coaches, who has a Serbian origin, was outplayed by first Serbian coach in NBA - Igor Kokoskov. Doc Rivers (who is regarded as one of the best coaches in coaching and basketball experts circles) now has to look up for the same holes that Igor saw and is ought to use all given chances.

When I saw Beverly shooting those 3 pointers in that half it reminded me of a conversation Clyde Frazier had with Wilson Chandler years ago.

Clyde: Wilson why are you taking (and missing) so many 3's? That is not your game.
Wilson: Clyde I have to take them. I'm wide open.
Clyde: Wilson, you are open for a reason.

Its interesting that teams like the Spurs have 2 all star players but I do not feel like the Clippers have less talent.
Clips should keep attacking especially in the bonus. They have had an edge at the FT line so far tonight.

Patrick Beverley is actually a career 37.4% from beyond the arc even with a down season of 31.3% right now. It seems like working on his mid-range floater has negatively affected his 3-point shooting. He sure seems determined to take (and miss) shots despite going 0-3 in the 1st half.

I'm not bashing him as a 3 point shooter in general. Just how short some of those shots looked as they left his hand in that half. I was not sure one of them would reach the rim. I'm sure he is a better shooter than that usually.

LOL and there he goes making one!
