Doc's top assistant

Who's the guy who took over after Doc was ejected in the last game? Can't say he impressed me, looked just as overwhelmed as players, haven't contributed anything other than quickly pulling Shay out and non-stop hysterical yelling. To be fair, he was in a difficult position. Still, somewhat disappointed, was curious how Sam would manage in a high-stress situation, he handled them very well in his playing days.

That's assistant coach Rex Kalamian who came over from Toronto last summer, he used to be Scott Brooks' defensive assistant in Oklahoma in the Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka years and Casey's defensive assistant on the Raptors last couple of years. He is by all accounts an excellent X's & O's guy, judging him by how his face looked in this half a quarter of a blowout seems hasty at best.

Probably just an excellent assistant, who's not a head coach material; he surely looked lost when left to mind the shop. All the better for Doc, at least he can be certain he's not going to be kicknursed.

Doc told him to go sit down last night. Looked like he was making everyone nervous
