    Avery Bradley - 11.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 3.7apg, 0.3spg, -2.0 in 30.7mpg

minus-2 was actually the best score of all our starters

I knew Avery was playing better but these are surprisingly good numbers, esp the assists
Avery is a career 1.8 apg guy and has never averaged over 2.2 apg
[and only once over 3.1 rpg]

Shai has fallen off completely, esp the assists--he's supposed to be the PG :(
and Tobias's 14 ppg is really worrying

OTOH, Lou, Trezz and Pat Bev [!] with great numbers, Ty nice too

I'm just not ready to vote him off the island, is all. But if somebody wants to trade for him, I'm certainly listening.

I do not have a problem with Avery. I think most teams have a guy that the fans just do not like for whatever reason. I actually like Avery more than Plus/Minus stats. :)

Well, what we do know is the starters had a bad week and the bench had a pretty good one. This much we can say with confidence. And regardless of plus/minus, Avery had a decent week, perhaps his best as a Clipper.

I think that is a broad statement. The starters are playing other teams starters. The reserves are often playing other teams backups. Its apples and oranges so its hard to make a fair comparison. If the starters were playing against lower level competition (aka backups) their numbers would be much better.

I'm glad Avery is playing better. I might give Ty a shot at starting 1-2 games BUT if he can produce 10-13 points a game with solid defense he will earn his role.

That wasn't to say the bench players are better than the starters. But Shai and Tobias are scuffling a bit and of course the center situation is a mess.
