Both coaches have been tossed. Doc and Boylen to the locker rooms.

Double Coach Ejection: That's New

By virtue of an ejection, Clippers automatically lose. They are 0-6 this season when one of their guys is tossed.

Will we see a change in trend?

Gallo has just been smoking this month. Was a bit slow in Feb as he was working his way back from injury but this month has been gangbusters just like most of the rest of the season.

If Gallo didnt get injured before the trade deadline i truly wondered what he would've fetched.

Good question. Curious to see what they get for him this summer. I'm hoping LAC can avoid a 1st round matchup with GS.

when I get home after a gig and I see there are only 14 comments, I know the Clippers already won without even having to fire up the VCR

Thanks, Doc vultures

you're so predictable I can set my Clippers watch by you LOL

yes, but ballsy to put your balls out there just to get them cut off

but since you seem to have an unlimited supply of balls you don't mind getting cut off

I guess this response is a waste of time, silly me

I really don't think the team ever planned to trade Gallo or Lou at the this season's trade deadline. That would have given up on this season. They traded Tobias because he rejected their contract offers.

To be fair there weren't any posts even when the team was losing last nights. I was reading the thread till mid third quarter when I fell asleep. I guess some folks have a life. I don't lol

Time To Explain Why I Keep Track Of Ejections

And I'll gladly keep putting new ones out on so they can get cut off again. And again. And again. And again...

But let's be real here. One of my greatest concerns with the team is instant low morale. Throughout the years, maybe since the Lob City Era, they have a losing record when one of their players or coaches is ejected.

I remember the 2012 lockout season of Mo Williams getting tossed over a second technical that paved the way for Kevin Love to sink a buzzer beating game winner and going all Spartacus. The time when Chris Paul jabbed Marc Gasol in the ribs in the waning moments of Game 6 for the Grizzlies to clinch their playoff series win. Warriors baiting Blake Griffin into an ejection that not only won them a Christmas game, it placed Griffin in the center of trade rumors for Carmelo Anthony. Doc River's first ejection as a Clipper coach versus Nets which saw him wanting to show up the referee.

Every time a coach or player gets ejected, Clippers automatically lose. There have been a few exceptions like with Jamal Crawford's first career ejection versus Suns that led up to a Sudden Death Shot from Griffin to get back the win.

This latest win is the first after six straight losses this season. This roster is more composed and focused, thus more Spursian, than all of the previous Clipper iterations combined. They don't have a Duncan, but it feels as if the spirit of Tim is lending this underdog team a helping hand to channeling the internal anguish and jealousy within their hearts to winning basketball games and not for selfish attention. A role player team has more heart and zero ego than a team with at least one superstar - and that's why I've been advocating for the Clippers to win as a role player team. Sure they'll be low on the talent pool by lack of a big name alone, but the love, friendship and family this iteration is showing pales in comparison to the 29 other teams in the league, Lakers included.

Clippers were facing a lottery team so a win was expected, but after the six straight losses via an ejection, I'll give it to them. The challenge will come when they face a playoff team and the top 3 seeds in the west. Can they keep their cool versus the Warriros, Rockets, Thunder - those guys? I'm watching for that.
