Doc should not be using a full bench with no Lou. Put some starters in to help out!

Little hope of winning with no Lou just fight through it.

Zubac only 18 mins and no Gallo Doc needed bigger balls to win this one. He threw the white flag before the game started we had them

yo bros, we weren't gonna beat the top team in the NBA missing 2 of our best 3 players
on the road?
no how no way

informative Doc postgame:

--Trezz missed Lou; whole team missed Pat Bev's kamikaze oomph

--pulled Gallo after 24 minutes, no use in pushing it

--Shai was aggressive [21/6/5] and Shamet continues to wow [4-6 from 3 after sitting out 2 games]

--Temple played 36 minutes 0 points/5 rebs/ 5 assists--a Pat Beverley line if ever you saw one, LOL

--J-Rome played well, even some PG--[I thought he was lost at first but justified Doc giving him more minutes in the 2nd half]

--Doc still found Ty his 8 minutes

I was always critical of Doc not trying new combinations back in the day, but OTOH we had crap for a bench and we were fighting for seeding, so why bother, but

--experimented with JaMychal at the 5/Gallo at the 4--very pleased

--experimented with Chandler at the 4--liked that too

--I know Mr New Era digs Zubac [10/6, 18 minutes] but a Gallo/JaMychal tandem at the 4-5 in the 4thQ makes a lot of sense if matchups permit

excellent use of minutes in what was an exhibition game tonight
we gave 'em heck and made 'em work--4 Bucks starters + Connaughton played 30 minutes or more

our scrubeenies went toe-to-toe with the real thing and came out OK
confidence abounds

Load management is a bunch of garbage. Lou should have played. He has no injuries and he didn’t look weary so what’s the problem?

I hear you but then again
it's the whole rest thing

this game meant nothing in the standings to the Bucks and now it looks like the nascent Coach of the Year done fcked up playing his superstar a team-high 32 minutes

Antetokounmpo went to the floor and held his right ankle after dunking with 7:46 left in the game, and he immediately went to the bench and didn’t return. He missed two games last week with a sprain to the same ankle, initially suffered on March 17 vs. Philadelphia.

“I’m definitely working on it, trying to get it healthy, stronger,” Antetokounmpo said. “I’m trying to get my mobility back. It’s not going to be easy.

“Usually when you sprain your ankle, you stay out for two, three, four games. But I don’t like missing games. I’ve got to work through it while playing. I’ll be ready to play until coach (Mike Budenholzer) tells me not to play.”

what do you think they would be saying about Doc if Lou went down tonight, tilting at windmills?

your call bro

Lou isn’t injured and the clippers are fighting for playoff positioning. It was basically like forfeiting the game by resting him. I’m too old school I guess to embrace this load management stuff- I think it’s an over reaction- too cautious

They can not win them all. If I was in charge I would try to get the best matchup instead of the highest seed.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

I honestly do not even know who would be the best matchup. They all look tough. Zubac and Trezz will have their hands full on defense.
