this is interesting. By the time our game starts at 7.30pm, Spurs and Thunder games should be either over on pretty close to the end.
If both win, we are guaranteed to finish 8th, so I suspect Doc would just sit all starters along with Lou and Trez.
But if one of them lose, then it's game on.

hey, these are the only other winning seasons in LA Clipper history without CP or Blake
2005-06 NBA Los Angeles Clippers 47 35 .573
1991-92 NBA Los Angeles Clippers 45 37 .549
the playoffs are gonna be no fun but this was a fun year
I really enjoyed it
I don't ask for much

It Was A Good Run - A Retrospective

Here's my prediction:
automatic sweep.
But I'll say this: the Lob City Clippers started the Warriors run by not taking them seriously in 2012-13. It took losing Game 1 in the 2014 NBA Playoffs for Clippers to finally accept Golden State as a threat (they proved that with a 40-point blowout in Game 2). But I always felt the Sterling scandal was the surprising X-factor: those disgusting tapes bruised the Clippers morale that they suffered a Game 4 loss on the road. Had the Clippers lost to the Dubs in the 1st round, it would have been Sterling's fault. At the same time, Doc was able to band the team together from the scandal that it galvanized them into defeating the Dubs. That distraction alone was why I believed the 2014 playoff victory was a fluke. For the Dubs to beat the Clippers in this revenge match will mean a lot:
1.
It ends the Warriors-Clippers rivalry. Rivalries begin and end in the playoffs. Clippers will have a different team to respect.
2.
It cements the Dubs dynasty. We were waiting for a Clippers-Warriors revenge for years, Dubs waited, but it never happened because Lob City was always in its own way. The Revenge Of The Role Players will be filling in for Lob City. It won't be Paul-Griffin-Jordan, but the Clippers name will carry over. So it's like a bucket list.
Looking back at 2014, do you think the Clippers-Warriors series was a fluke only because of the Sterling scandal?

Mark Jackson was a horrible coach I doubt it was a fluke. There was a glass ceiling on the potential of that Warrior team until they made a change. Part of me hoped the lob city clips would of had the same chance beyond Doc but it wasn’t meant to be

I know Ralph loves him to death but his charm was always lost on me
some good one-liners but mostly annoying
nice sendoff for Ralph at halftime though
and I'm glad he's glad Walton's there
I can take it if he can LOL

The Laker game was a killer, but nothing is gonna diminish my enjoyment of this season.

I love that Grayson Allen has about 78 points and they haven’t said his name once.

We're going to likely get swept or lose 4-1 but idc. We're back in the playoffs, overachieved big time this year and are set up for an awesome future. Gonna enjoy this GS series and hope we at least put up a fight and win a game or 2.
