Week 25/26 Stars Players of the Week

Post#1 » by mkwest » Thu Apr 11, 2019 6:57 am

The Clippers finished off the final 10 days of the regular season with a 1-3 record. There is always uncertainty in how the final games will play out, because you never know who will be running a full squad and who will be utilizing "load management." It's common to play a team at full strength only to have a team that you are competing with face that same team with a depleted roster. You can only control what you can control. The Clippers dropped games to the Rockets (4-1), the damn Lakers (2-3) and the Warriors (5-1) before closing out the regular season with an overtime victory over the Jazz (4-2).

As a result, the Clippers will have the privilege of squaring off against the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs. The last time the two teams played in the postseason, the Clippers overcame an emotionally draining series due to some guy that used to own the team (which also happened to be the last western conference series loss by the Warriors).
