Repaired labrum tear in his left shoulder, torn rotator cuff in his right. Not too sure which one os worse, but both are pretty bad AFAIK.
For reference, guys who recently had the same rotator cuff surgery (his right shoulder) are: Patty Mills in 2014, Cody Zeller in 2015 and Tyler Johnson in 2016. Guys who had the labrum surgery recently (his left shoulder) are: Dwight Howard in 2013, Kevin Love in 2015, Justise Winslow in 2017, MCW in 2018.
Thanks. On the radio, I can’t remember who said it, but they were saying that the labrum procedure was minor, but it sounds like that was his left shoulder. Hopefully it doesn’t negatively impact his shooting

I have a partially torn labrum. It's been that way for about a decade. It hurt like a bitch early on but I'm over it now. I'm pretty sure the tear is still there and I still do what I need to do in the weight room: Bench Press over 250 lbs, Over Head Press/ Push Press 175 lbs.
Rotator Cuff seems like it's the one that is more important. Typically if a pitcher or a QB has that surgery, there's a chance they're never the same again.

Yeah my dad had a torn labrum for 4-5 years before finally getting surgery on it. He said after the first year it didn't really bother him. But after the surgery he noticed a huge difference that he never knew before.

Understandable for a pitcher or QB, but let’s hope it doesn’t have a significant impact on pg13’s abilities

I don't think it will tbh.
But until I hear more information on his recovery time, I think it's a possibility he could miss some of the early part of the season.
I really would love to see both these guys out there game 1 and I hope that happens.

The more I think about this trade, the less I think the picks matter. Losing SGA was what hurt the most and most likely what will still hurt after all of those picks materialize. The two Miami 1sts were essentially freebies from the Tobias and Harkless deals. I could've gone without the pick swaps, but if that was what put the deal over the hump, then you have to do it. Also, I have no doubt the FO will acquire picks in the upcoming years in one way or another, along with drafting wisely in the 2nd round.
