Look at that second tweet. Essentially trading Paul George and Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers. If Stein is saying it like that, that means this is a sign-and-trade, Clippers will be hard capped, and a few other people might go. Can somebody clear this up?

Gets OKC out of the luxury tax, 3 future firsts, two recent first rounders and productive expiring contracts.
If SGA isn’t included, OKC hangs up. You’re getting a guy who finished third in mvp voting and might have one it if not for the injury. A bunch of late first round talent doesn’t get you that.
How far off is a Gallo/SGA for PG13 deal? That works financially under the CBA even though I know the Clippers would be extremely reluctant to add SGA since they didn’t want to add him in any AD deal.

Who knows if Kawhi an PG13 will even be on the team past 2024. Those unprotected FRPs in that time period is terrifying.
I have no doubt Ballmer will pay insane levels of lux tax to maintain a championship team, but 33+ year old Kawhi + PG13 arent folks one should max out.

Can I just take a moment and brag... Yesterday I was in the Thunder forum going back and forth on what a Paul George deal to the Clippers could look like to convince Kawhi to sign with us!!!
