Clips convo is an arrogant clipper fan which is pretty rare. I like his content but I don't like his arrogant confidence.
Reminds me of Laker fans. I'm not a fan of fans who guarantee championships where even the players themselves don't do that.
Love the enthusiasm.
Hes clearly just a fan though. He tried to argue that pat bev is almost just as good as Chris Paul because Pat bev doesn't turn the ball over.
It didn't make sense.

It looks like the projections rankings for the season may be correct that kawhi is in front of lebron. I'm still not convinced that Giannis is a better player than Kawhi when Kawhi just beat him. That projection is inaccurate.
But I didn't anticipate lebron losing his lift. He's been missing layups since the preseason. I thought it was rust [or him exerting himself too much on the defensive end], but it might very well be his lift is gone.

I do not care where Kawhi lands on objective subjective ranking systems absent some atrocity that would get my attention like putting him outside of the top 10 players currently. Even then, those aren't worth my breath or my typing.
He is a superstar of the highest order in this league. He is someone who can lead you to a championship. All I care about. Congrats if you think someone else is better.
Next subject (as far as that goes).

I've been a big LeBron fan his entire career, but yes, Kawhi is better than him now. Part of it is that LeBron is simply getting older, but it also has a lot to do with Kawhi's amazing development as a player.

can't care less if ESPN thinks someone is a worse or better player than kawhi. that discussion serves no purpose other than to create interest at the start of the season for casual observers

They faced each other a total of 22 times in NBA games. Kawhi Leonard has a 14-8 winning record over LeBron James, including a 7-5 record in Playoffs.

this is gonna sound weird, but a lot of the jumpers he made that game made me think of al thornton.
in the sense they'd both take tough shots from similar range. and with thornton you'd go "wow, if only he could hit those consistently, then he'd be awesome"
difference being kawhi's shots were always going in lol

Yeah it's great that it seems he's just taken another step up in his never ending development, it's crazy how in control he is when getting to his preferred spots, and it's awesome to watch that he's now mastered the slow-drive-and-get-position-with-his-shoulder + dish to the open man. He's on track to become a top main playmaker, and that's the one thing he was lacking so far.
So glad he chose to come here.
