Thankfully he did play 8 of the 12 he was one of the few to actually score. Beside a bad gamble foul on a Whiteside foul he held up his part. Shamet hit his two shots and seems to be off track again

that load management bitching is such media driven stupidity, dont pay any attention to it

any reasonable fan would realise we are managing kawhis body to be in peak condition for the playoffs, & if u give us a tough b2b against 2 strong playoff teams then u obviously choose the 1 thats in ur conference for better seeding

McGruder's more a defender than scorer
he helped get the stops in the 4thQ [which is why he was in the plus and how we came back]
and putting him in for Lou there at the end was a no-brainer
the Blazers had 3 SGs with Lillard, McC and Simons, who was killing us

Doc started Trezz-Lou-Kawhi-Harkless-McGruder at the beginning of the 4th when we fell down by 6
and stopped the bleeding right there

Trezz only ended up playing 28 minutes and was plus+9
Zubac [minus-3 in 20 minutes] played well but we fell behind with him in there in the 3rdQ
no way he was gonna lead the comeback
we needed Trezz

Shamet was scuffling out there but we still came back with him on the floor
imagine when PG is getting those minutes!! :onfire:

great job by Doc for his 900th win
had them in our sights the whole way until Kawhi time
I think that lineup to start the 4th was key
