Pencil every game where Leonard doesn't play as automatic losses: Clippers are 0-3 when he doesn't play.
They may be above average defensively (12th in points per game allowed, 103.0), but defending the 3 will remain their Achilles heel (25th in opponent 3P% with 0.372 and 28th in opponent 3Ps made). That may be why a certain defensive specialist was at practice today.
Rumor has it Clippers may look into bringing in Tom Thibodeau as their defensive coordinator. If they lose three games in a row (the precipice to an imminent elimination in playoffs regardless of round), Thib's arrival becomes inevitable.

This'll be the first game of the "Regular Season" for the Clippers, as far as I'm concerned.
