Keep Zubac in for a while... he needs reps.

OTOH, Trezz is becoming one of the best players in the NBA
EARNED every minute he gets

not fair to take PT away from him for Zubac project
let Trezz test his wings

**in hushed whispers**

TBH, I have my suspicions that the Clippers are "plumping up" Montrezl (feeding him minutes/shots), preping things for a timely trade in the future.

There's literally no reason why every team shouldn't just chuck threes on every possession against the Clippers, it's not like we're actually going to defend them.

our 2nd unit is winning as many games as the 1st

it's our [not so] secret formula

starters play even, we get fat with our depth

The Clippers finally realized there was a game tonight.

Edit: never mind, they just managed to lose Giannis on defense again.

Clippers looked like they had to test out the Bucks defense a bit, but there’s also a reality in the NBA that sometimes you just hit/don’t hit shots, it happens. Anyone here who has played understands it, and you have to either trust that the shots will start to fall or try and find another way to get buckets.

Patterson is doing well standing his ground, Giannis certainly plays big

agree and even though patterson's been inconsistent, you can tell what his value on the team is, on nights when we need to throw a big, mobile-ish body at another one.

Time to face facts: this team is not looking like a real contender when it doesn't have actual coaching and a system. This offense isn't going to work against elite coaches, especially in playoff series.

the difference in shot quality seems really stark. this is where your stars are supposed to come through for you, but even with these two guys it's hard to overcome a team getting easy, easy shots.

One team is actually being coached, the other team is just expecting star power to make up for not having a system.

Clippers aren’t even playing bad defense, Patrick Patterson being 0/3 on his pretty wide open 3PT shots vs Wesley Matthews making his jab and 3PT shot with the defender there, that’s a factor. The Clippers giving up a decent amount of offensive rebounds has also hurt.

It's all about the Playoffs.
Since the Clips are so deep, they can afford to offer multiple players in order to "upgrade" for the Playoffs and/or for the seasons to come... might even work-in a deal to get a future 1st Rd Lottery Pick.

Don't rotations tighten up in the Playoffs?

Is Montrezl a (worthy) "Max Player" ???
