They guy is absolutely delusional. He is hoping the Knicks (who may be stupid enough) will retire his jersey.

The guy did nothing for that franchise that would be worthy of retiring a jersey. He just scored and sucked up cap space. The Knicks were 28-26 when they traded for him. They ended the season 42-40 and were swept int he 1st round. In his first full season in 2011-2012, they went 36-30 in a lockout shortened season. They started 18-24 before firing No D D'Antoni. They finished 18-6. They were bounced in the 1st round 1-4 (started down 0-3). In 2012-2013, they Knicks won 54 games and a 1st round series before losing 2-4 in the Semis. The Knicks never won more than 37 games/season after that.
Would be some very low jersey retiring standards if they do it.
