Who we rooting for tonight? Lakers or Nuggets?

Lakers Or Nuggets?
Can't decide. I don't want the gap between the nuggets and clippers to widen, but if they beat the lakers, the gap between the lakers decreased back to 3.5 games.
gun to my head, I'm going to say lakers . We don't really need the 1 seed and getting 2 is just as good enough.

Lakers of course. We need to secure the 2nd seed to get homecourt advantage over the Nuggets

God it was hard to root for the Lakers, but...

none of the Nuggets wanted the shot in OT
deer in the headlights
not ready for prime time

Unfortunately the nuggets probably wouldn’t play like that against the clippers. Few teams look like “deer in the headlights” against them for some reason. It also never ceases to sicken me that the home crowd cheers for the lakers en masse. Just disgusting

I have to admit that the lakers defense is pretty solid. Better than I thought they’d be

I'll settle for 2 at this point. I don't think #1 is possible with continuity growing pains and load management still happening. Kawhi iss going to miss at least 3 more backs. We have 3 back to back sets left.
I just hope we win in Boston tomorrow. There's no center to bother us. I think we should win.

And this is the very reason why I don't see them beating the Lakers or the clippers.
As much as MTV wants to fret about them being a potential danger, I just don't see it. They don't have that edge. That next level they can tap into. They still play like a young team.
As much people want to give doc and the clippers ****, we only had one bad loss when both kawhi and PG played. Jokic hasn't missed a game and has losses to Atlanta, cavaliers (blowout) and several other sub 500 teams on his resume. Some at Denver.
Don't try to tell me clippers don't have a **** shot cause i don't want to hear that bullsh..
LeBron can kick it into another gear..kawhi can. Jokic cannot. Jokic is hella talented but In the playoffs that **** matters.

We need to win not only because of Denver but to separate ourselves from the jazz they're hot on the trails

As much as it was probably best for us that the Nuggets lost, I found myself rooting for them watching the game. They have a horde of athletic wings that defend well and go balls to the wall in every possession, then they have Jokic who is slow footed but helps with rebounding and team defense pretty well. If they managed to turn Murray into a consistent two way player (Jrue?) they'd be scary.
Lakers were lucky they could attack Jokic at the end because of his foul trouble and that Davis' two 3PT prayers in OT squeezed in. They're winning a lot, but every time I watch them I see so many offensive issues, spacing is awful with two big guys in, and they only have one reliable ballhandler. They've already made me eat crow with their record cause it's way above what I expected, so I'm just gonna shut up, watch and see, but every time I catch them, I'm not left with the impression that they're in a level with the rest of the contenders.
