Apparently, Basketball-Reference has removed the Game Finder feature from their main site. This is where you can search for games with filters like PTS, REB, AST, against which opponent, triple double games, advanced numbers, etc. It is now part of the Stathead subscription service. In other words, you have to pay it.

I am now looking for alternate stat search sites. Can anyone recommend some?

Here's the reason: I'm trying to figure out why Paul George's numbers dip tremendously in the playoffs. There has to be a game from his past that has adversely effected his performance (ex: career high in a blown game), or something which needs to happen in order for his shooting percentages to go up (ex: getting to the free throw line and making his free throws in the 1st or 2nd quarter increases his shooting percentages)... stuff like that.

Havent found them. I used it a lot for player finder features, but the 8 USd/month subscription is just silly. 1 USD/month would be okay. Back to exporting data and using spreadsheets, I guess. Basketballmonster has some features. Not happy with the NBA.com stats pages.

First of all, your premise is flawed. His numbers don't tremendously fall off.

Removing his shattered leg season, his teams have always made the playoffs. Out of 9 times in the playoffs, his opponents made it to the Conference Finals 8 times (NBA Finals 4 times and NBA Champs twice). Only the OKC first round loss to the Jazz in 2017-2018 did an opponent fail to make the Conference Finals. The 2017-2018 Jazz team had the 2nd best Defensive team in the NBA.

So, maybe the quality of the opponent plays a factor. You aren't going up against too many defensive bottom feeders in the playoffs when you are getting knocked out by one of the top 4 teams in the league.

His worst playoff game was definitely the Game 6 vs the Jazz. PG only took 2 shots in the 3rd quarter when the Jazz blew the game open while Westbrook took 14 shots. In the Game 5 loss to Portland last year, he played a good game, but Lillard hit a tremendous shot over him. His Game 7 vs the Heat in 2013 was bad, but that entire team laid and egg in the 2nd qtr which sealed their fate.
