This is from Woike's article in the LA Times.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

^ When I read that earlier I felt like it was before the Ibaka signing. I could be wrong. Would love to be wrong and they have something lined up still.

How about getting a point guard from the G league or an undrafted free agent and develop them into the ideal point guard on our team. Do what Boston did with rondo.

If the man could stay healthy and secondly if he could move his feet. The Lakers are the team to beat, and Lebron would just abuse a player like him with switch hunting that you would end up benching him anytime LeBron is on the floor.

That's something the team can attempt to still do regardless, but that's not what the team can rely on this season. Undrafted and G-League PG'S are a crappshoot, Rondo was the 21st pick. Rondo in 07-08 was a second year player who had 1831 NBA minutes and 25 starts under his belt. He was also getting benched in the finals for Eddie House and Sam Cassell, so as long as there are backup options, but hard to compare to G-League and undated guys.

Let me just say that Woike article wasn't in regards to Ibaka. Will it come to fruition? Only time will tell

in context it does seem Woike was talking about Ibaka

The Clippers need a point guard, defensive help in the frontcourt, and more leadership. So far, they’ve added shooting and underrated playmaking in Luke Kennard and brought back Marcus Morris, but there are still a lot of boxes left unchecked.

If you ask around the NBA, people expect the Clippers to have something special up their sleeves.

“They’ve got to, right?” one Eastern Conference executive said.

Sure enough, as the hours rolled into the night Saturday, the Clippers landed one of free agency’s biggest fish, former NBA champion Serge Ibaka, more than shoring up some holes in the frontcourt. It’s not everything they need, but it’s a lot of it.

This year is as good of a time for optimism as any, and as the Lakers and the Clippers head into the season in the next few weeks, there’s reason to feel good about the first two days of free agency.

I think they should think of signing Korver. I know he is very old by NBA standards but the guy can still shoot and you can never have enough shooting.

Agreed- he might be the worst defensive player in the history of the NBA. He couldn't keep anybody in front of him.

I have heard something on Sirius NBA radio that might sound crazy, but not far fetched. I have heard that the clippers might go after Kyle Lowry. If we can get him to the clippers, how awesome would that be for the team
