There was some justification for yanking him as Trezz was minus-5 despite his 26 points on 10-17 shooting with 9 rebs and 2 blocks. Then again, Kuzma was minus-10 and Matthews was minus-11. James Worthy thought it was a wtf.

I don't see much to gloat about here. The Lakers lost. And Trezz was no turncoat: The Clippers kicked him to the curb and gave the big money to Kennard. I don't see much to gloat about there either. :dontknow:

Of course, you're glossing over the facts that Trez went back to Klutch before the season, spent the season leaking all sorts of drama-filled stories to the media, almost single-handedly ruined the playoffs, tried to blame it all on PG, and then took less money to sign with our biggest rival in order to spite the Clippers. I'm not sure what else you needed to see before you'd stop defending him.

Unresponsive. The Clippers never made Trezz an offer. For chemistry reasons I agreed with that decision, but his criticisms were true. Now Kawhi and PG are longer going off to their own private dressing room or showing up late and are acting the part of team leaders. And last night notwithstanding, I believe the Lakers are glad to have Trezz--his numbers are very comparable to Kuzma's. That's not to say they won't chase Boogie for the minimum to see what he has left, but there is no reason to gloat about any of this.

They are in a interesting situation because based on social media and reports they need another big cover for Trez. Another AD 4 type so I couldn’t see how Cousins or even Dwight could of helped them

I've noticed Jovan doesn't get any real engagement from Laker fans. He's learning they're mostly bandwagon fans...lol

I'd say a guy who intentionally destroys chemistry, plays like crap and keeps getting playing time because the head coach was an imbecile and then signs with the team he helped is a turncoat...or like Clint Parks calls him, Oceans XI.

Also, Kennard has nothing to do with Trez. They gave the Trez money to Ibaka, who has been a phenomenal upgrade and doesn't complain. I mean, even the Lakers have realized it, which is why despite having two other bigs, they are scrambling to find a competent backup C like Whiteside.

After the shi*tstorm he started in Clipperdom I doubt anybody's giving him any scoops. Not even Dudley.

I was watching the lake show last night on national TV, and was wondering why our old friend didn't play.

Imo it's a nice way for Vogel to say Benedict's defense sucks, so let me go back to Gasol and see how it goes.

Trezz "understood"... right. Wonder how long until he leaves Klutch again.

He turned down 4 years $64 million and at least 30 minutes per game as Charlotte is short on bigs, plus LaMelo Ball would've had him looking like a fringe all star at least on the offensive end. Of course this is all in hindsight but damn.. Klutch doing Trez dirty

Harrell played a total of 40 minutes and scored a total of 23 points in Lakers' 6 playoff games, even with AD missing significant time.

Rich Paul and Klutch did Trez dirty. Totally screwed up his money

I think Doc screwed Harrell in the playoffs. Harrell is not your true big man. He's actually a 6.8 guy with minimal skills who can come off the bench and give you a few buckets. That's why he got exposed in the playoffs where a guy with more skills like PJ Tucker can prove valuable.
Doc screwed him by putting him against Boban, KP and then Jokic who left scars on Harrell.
Harrell was clearly in no state of mind to play let alone guard these much taller skilled dudes.
Also this bitching and bickering divided this team at the wrong moment.
Harrell is a liability in the playoffs and g guys like him who constantly miss defensive assignments get thoroughly exposed. That's why he saw very limited minutes against the Suns. I'm sure Vogel didn't like that signing one bit.

Vogel realized what kinda fraud this guy is and protected his team from his playoff BS. Doc? LMAO. Keep trotting him out there. We were gonna need him for the Conference Finals against the Lakers.

Klutch didn't help, obviously, but Trez is an idiot for not taking the money from Charlotte because he wanted to spite the Clippers. He didn't do his homework, otherwise he would have known that Vogel is a defense-first coach who wasn't going to kiss his ass like Doc did. It was all about foolish spite. Funny part is that he'll now have a grudge against the Lakers too after they dump him in the offseason.

It won't be long before Trez is playing in Europe or China. When you're an undersized big man who doesn't defend, rebound or show up in the playoffs, it's not wise to burn bridges.

I have zero sympathy for him. He tried burning the house down on his way out. Thought he was giving the team the finger while he crossed the hall to join the rivals.

I also think he took forever and a day to mourn a family member but saying that is taboo so....

Whatever.

Okay, let's relax now, haha.

Enes Kanter just as an example has survived in the league despite being a guy who a coach said "can't play Kanter" in the playoffs. Trez is not as good offensively but he's better defensively. Many teams are happy to have high energy bench bigs who can give them scoring. Trez will easily find a spot, he's a great roll man, he can create a bit, and he has defensive utility, just not good against bigger matchups.

Lakers with their bad overall shooting as a team were not the team to add an undersized C without any range. The fit was worse than I had anticipated as I didn't expect their shooting to be so bad as a team.

Everyone mourns differently, there's no timeline. That's different from whether one can get back to work after some time. Of course if a year later you say you can't work adequately because you are still mourning, that can be a problem, but you could still be mourning and continue on with life and doing what you need to do.
