Good game. We can get them if Pat Bev is healthy. He'll shave ten points off Kyrie's total

This game is why I'm not on the Reggie bandwagon no matter how many catch-and-shoot threes he makes against lottery teams in the regular season. His poor defense and BBIQ will always make him unplayable when it matters. Luke is a waste of $64 million and Lou is washed.

Such a frustrating game to lose, almost entirely because of the questionable job the front office has done constructing this team. I feel like I complain about this every week, but Lou, Luke and Reggie can't all be on the same roster if you're trying to win anything.

Morris played well but I’m still surprised Ibaka didn’t get some more burn.

That BS foul on Morris on the Harden 3 was a game changer man. LET THE PLAYERS DECIDE THE GAMES!!

and Green leaking out for the easy deuce

this is the part where traditionally everyone calls for the coach to be fired

Haha, yea, never been a fire the coach knee-jerk kinda person.

At least Green missed the FT, but Nash with the fouls did the smart thing, not every coach likes that strategy

Wasted performance.

Needed more Ibaka and less Zu/Lou. George shows up in the first half and were likely looking at a W.

Nets won it--I don't think we threw it away

only 8 turnovers
45% FGs
41% 3-pt
88% FTs

strangely enough, Durant finished minus-9 and Kyrie minus-5

our bench was our minus

Morris minus-9
Zubac minus-8
Lou minus-4

Harden was a silent but deadly 23-11-14 plus+7
the Nets hit 57% from the field and that was that
these guys are good

Until the Nets make moves to improve defensively, they are very beatable against other good teams, that's the good part. The bad part is that down the stretch, they are very hard to stop, and in general whenever their three stars are on the court, they will be hard to contain. First not many teams have 3 top notch perimeter defensive players, and secondly, even if you do, there's so many opportunities for them to force a switch and they have 3 players they can use to get a switch on the "right defender" that it's a tough situation.

If the Clippers bench units were able to keep up just a tad more, they could have taken this one. The team was +7 when Kawhi was on, that's solid, and it was a tough outing with the refs.

Fun game. Thought Lue did a bad job with managing PG's minutes in the first half. Seemed like he sat the last 5-6 minutes, and that's when the Nets really got back in the game. Kawhi missed some easy ones, really should've been a 37-40 point night (hesitated at the rim against KD atleast 3 times, and tried to get foul calls like 3 straight possessions in the first half). But overall, a lot of good things. Batum stepped up, Morris stepped up, and KL and PG really put the team in a position to win. Like others have said Pat Bev would have been great in this game, and Im not sure about the Luke Kennard, Lou will situation. 24 minutes - 2/9. D Rose, Frank Ntilikina, I'd take them both in a heart beat.

Just wanted to add, that though the moral victories r fine, they do need to win one of these big games. Boston is a good test later this week, Utah back to back, and Brooklyn later this month.

I've never seen you really bring up refs but, tonight was kinda obvious the Clippers were getting mugged with no calls in the paint

Quality loss. Pat Bev would've helped out big time in this. At worst he slows Kyrie down a bit. Stars did their thing. Reggie played good in spurts but he's not really a guy to close with. Didn't get much from Zu tonight. Kennard is in the doghouse. Not sure about Lou Will's future on the team.. I think I see us pulling the trigger on a DRose trade

Reggie played well in the first half and pretty good overall and yes he's not the guy you want to close the game out with. That's Lou Will and Kennard's job but they're not stepping up. Or better yet Lou is simply washed and Kennard hasn't played in big games outside of his days at Duke.

The ending two plays were pretty clipperish humor

Reggie having to run full court because no one picked up Green and Batum botching the free throw situation.

I’m not really mad over the game but it sucks certain guys are in a slump

Clippers attempted 20 more shots than the Nets, both made 45 FG, Clippers made 2 more 3's so where does the difference come from?? It's a rhetorical question

DRose doesn't solve any of the problems with our roster. The front office needs to be prioritizing defense.

Batum talked about how Bev would have helped tonight. True but can we depend on him staying healthy?

What I’d give to swap Lou for Hill.
