That was a great bounce back game and even more so for the bench

Had to leave mid game but glad to hear Zubac is doing well. We need him!

Lou also showed out and even Luke got some shots up. A great way to finish the road trip

Great to hear! The bench will be the difference maker in tougher playoff series

Not getting fooled by Lou until he has a string of these games.

Thank goodness this road trip is over.

I don't think the Lakers would be too pleased with a end of the bench player providing bulletin board material. That's a BIG no no

I can't believe Stay-Puft is even in the league still. The trade that brought him to the Clippers was the worst trade of the Doc era.

Fact: Prior to last season, PG had 13 more conference finals games under his belt than AD. In those 13 games, he had the primary responsibility to defend the Miami Heat era LeBron.

PG has played at high levels after coming back from a pretty horrific leg injury. Stay-Puft would have been out of the league after such an injury.

Jared Dudley is probably the biggest Clippers hater in the league. He shoulda been out of the league a long time ago, but managed to keep himself employed by picking fights for no reason and being a wannabe enforcer. For someone who is literally a nobody, he sure talks alot.

jared dudley is that super cringe dude in high school that you kinda hope just goes away and stops saying weird things.

how utterly tragic that this dude permanently altered the trajectory of the cp3/blake teams by being so bad that doc rivers lit draft capital on fire to get rid of him. which, of course, generated its own chain reaction of tragic events.

FTR--that 2014 trade turned into OG Anunoby in the 2017 draft, who didn't contribute until the 2019-20 season, and is getting PAID starting next year to the tune of $17M a year.

2 years of affordable quality play 5 years after the trade, well after the Lob City window closed. It would be better to have him now of course, but the net effect on the Clipper franchise was minimal-to-zero. As we see now with these mega deals for PG and The Beard, you have to stack up a number of these mid-20s monkey picks--this pick was a #23-- in hopes even one comes through.

FTR2--Although he no doubt had input, Doc was not yet PoBO when Dudley was acquired.

FTR3--I hated Dudley's guts from the first preseason game. But in his defense he played hurt to start that year when Barnes was out and complained he was never right until he got out of here.

FTR4--But I still hate him.

Damn, looks like I missed a good game. I like the minutes distribution, and what can I say about PG? Looks like all the stuff he said on that All the Smoke podcast was true... Back with his trainer when he was in the MVP race, listening to Kobe motivational stuff... He really is on "Mfs asses", lol.

And Dudley... I can't stand that guy on so many levels. From the way he looks, to his fake tough guy act, and how he was trash when he played on the team... He's what Gordon Ramsay would call a Muppet.

Sorry, you are looking at what they did with him after they had Stay-Puft. The downfall started with his acquisition. Clippers were in need of a back-up big man because DJ was questionable after his playoff performance. Suns had Gortat. Clips gave up Caron Butler in the deal, so they could go and turn a career backup into a starting SG. Suns turn around later and deal Butler to the Bucks which we could have done on our own. Rather than hold out for Gortat, Doc allows No D Gentry to sell him on Stay-Puft even though we just drafted Bullock. We are left with a backup big problem. The Suns give Gortat away to the Wiz that same off-season. Gortat goes on to have several good years with the Wiz. We go out and sign Byron Mullens who adds nothing and is out of the league permanently after that season.

Had we just grabbed Gortat instead of Stay-Puft, we would have had a quality backup big that could play the inside outside game with either Blake or DJ. Instead, we end up with having to play Blake and DJ together when both could only play inside. Everything after that initial trade were just the snowball effects.

Just setting the record straight without getting into the whole shoulda coulda thing. The pick turned into Anunoby, who wasn't useful until 5 years later, and then only for 2 years before he cost big money.

In fact, we traded the pick to the Bucks, who thought so little of it they traded it to the Raptors for 2 second-rounders, who were also busts. Doc was a lousy GM because he had zero luck trading garbage picks for garbage players. But the narrative that he traded away our future is bullsh*it. They were monkey picks to start with.
