First sub par game from Batum.. Put up a big doughnut on 31 minutes. I'm sure he's going to want to play better on Sunday against Brooklyn

Even without the refs, they still have two all-time Clipper killers in Conley and Gobert. And every game we play against them is annoying. I just really don't like our chances against them.

You forgot Ingles- he usually plays out of his mind against the Clippers too.

It would be a hard fought series for sure. Clippers would have to concentrate for a full 48 minutes- no let up

Did Ty "he was sitting next to me" Lue just outcoached Quin Snyder at the closing time? Mook at center shifted the game momentum and gave us double digit lead.

Probs to Patrick Beverley for being such a clutch!

Any little respect I had for that clown went out the window with that idiotic statement. Made even worse by the fact that Ty praised him greatly and is SUPPOSED to be a friend of Doc's... :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Ty simply won me right after the first media day. Humble as f.ck, what this team need.

oh ffs

we were thisclose to blowing it in the last 30 seconds and a total shi*tstorm would have come down about how Ty is just like Doc blahblahblah

people give it a rest please? mercy

As for Pat Bev, if you saw the postgame interview he was completely low-key and professional. This time last year he was still talking like a punk. Forget the coaching--this whole team got humbled BIGTIME at the Mickey Mouse Invitational last year. Plus we added max pros in Batum and Ibaka. This is not the same team that crawled out of the bubble in disgrace last September.

Great win tonight against the best team in the NBA. And more than that, instead of "load managing" and begging off, everybody suited up, came in dinged up, and MADE A STATEMENT.

This is NOT the same team that crawled out of the bubble in disgrace last September.

To further compare Ty and Doc, Ty has a system where even a guy like Mann gets an easy bucket unlike Doc's give the ball to your best player and see what happens. Just the ability to call timely timeouts and actually coach during those timeouts makes Ty a better coach than Doc.
Yeah the game got closer than it should have because PG had 2 brain farts and a TO and Mitchell made some crazy shots.

Doc has always been a narcissist. That probably explains why he never made adjustments either. His original gameplans were always perfect because he could never be wrong.

Is this our "death lineup"?

Pat Bev
PG
Kawhi
Batum
Sr

4 of the 5 guys above currently shooting 45% or better from 3s. Defensively we can pretty much switch everything. Obviously we still need Zu or Ibaka when we play a dominant big like Jokic or Embiid.

As a Jazz fan just wanted to congratulate you on the win. Pulling Gobert out of the paint with Morris sealed the game for you. I still think my Jazz match up real well with you guys, and while neither team played their perfect preformance, I'm happy with what I saw.

If a "super team" has to win it this year, I hope its you guys.

Yes, good call. Ty said just that in the postgame--Senior stretches the floor and opens the lane for Kawhi and PG, and that lineup can switch defensively from 1 to 5.
