NBA INJURY ALERT: Clippers G Patrick Beverley (knee) is OUT; C Serge Ibaka (back) is questionableLue had Marcus Morris start at power forward in place of Nicolas Batum, and the switch seemed to help both players. Morris led the Clippers in scoring in the first half with 12 points and finished with 14. Batum had six points in the first half and 12 overall for the second unit.
“I’ve been thinking about it for a while,” Lue said of the lineup change. “I really wanted to do it after a couple wins … I was trying to get Marcus jump-started and get him going.”
It worked well enough that Lue said he intends to keep Morris in the starting lineup.

This will be the biggest test to buy in some confidence to this team moving forward. A mini playoff test.
After a nice win, will adjustments be made to get another win? Will Paul George finally wake up? How will Morris and probably Zu continue to fit with the 1st team? Based on Ty's comments I anticipate Zu moving back to the bench after Ibaka gets back.
Our next game isn't till Saturday so I hope for big minutes and for everyone to be treating this like a playoff matchup. We did a great job not letting anyone get too hot offensively, and that will need to be the focus for next game as well, particularly with their guards.
My gut says we'll win this, but you never know with this team.

Don’t like all these whistles in our favor. They’re the right calls but makes feel like we’re going to get screwed later.

I was reading how Ibaka resented coming off the bench behind Gasol. I've been saying Serge didn't come here to play beside Lou and T-Mann but I think Ty has to figure out some way to finesse getting Zu some minutes where he's most comfortable.
