I absolutely hated the Rondo trade, but I didn't expect him to be anywhere near this good. Was he just sandbagging it in Atlanta?

I didn't know Ayton shoots three's, and his miss and percentages certainly suggests that he doesn't.

Reggie hitting the step back-ish 3PT shot with two defenders around him is just par the court for him lately

Hopefully this is a sign of PG coming out of the slump

The contenders don't offer that much so you get a bigger deal from a fringe playoff/semi bad team and then play half assed or become "disgruntled". Then you demand a trade post all star break, and get dealt to a playoff title contender that you originally wanted to be with.. but you have a way bigger deal already in the bag then what the title contender was offering you in the off season. All the older vets do this sh*t.

Was Blake sandbagging it in Detroit? Did Batum not care anymore in Charlotte?

Sadly there is truth to this. Go where the money is, if it works great, but if not, you hope you get traded where you REALLY wanted to go

A bit of a sloppy night for Kawhi, the Suns length and activity has caused him to make some mistakes

I'm watching the game, and I guess I wasn't paying attention to the score because I thought the Clippers were still up.

Some yuck turnovers in this first half, hopefully they can clean up some of that in the second half

Beverley not having a fun time with Booker in this one. Nice finish to the half by Kawhi.

Second game of a back to back, I think the second half should be tougher on the Suns than the Clippers. Suns are still a fairly young team though, so who knows.

Offense got real bad with Pat Bev running point. Can't play him if he can't stop anybody on defense nor hit a bucket on the offensive end

Kawhi needs to show up in the second half.

down 2 at the half
pretty good considering we're running out a ton of combinations who haven't played together

I imagine the intensity will pick up later on but right now this is no more than a spirited practice

Suns shooting 66% :-?

Crowder is always a tough matchup for him since he’s so strong, can’t really bully him into his favorite spots. Also, although there are plenty of positives to starting Zu, he does congest things a bit for Kawhi and even Morris too.
