Okay, this is weird. Apparently, Charles Barkley called out the Clippers for being who they are, losers:

"The Clippers have sucked since I've been alive."

Anytime he says something that is going to happen, and he guarantees it, the opposite happens. This is known as the Guarantee Jinx. Naturally, this has fed the Clippers psyche into thinking they're automatically going to win the title:

I'm having a hard time gauging them. CP is old, a lot of the team hasn't played in the playoffs, are they a team that can really threaten in the post-season? I mean no one is going to take them for granted, and the West is strong enough that nothing is necessarily clear, but are they a team to be worried about playing? I don't know...

Does anybody have a recording of Barkley's assessment of the Clippers from today's Inside The NBA Halftime Report?

I heard it. Said we're pretenders. Kawhi and PG should be leaders esp with Batum and Serge here shouldn't have been begging for Rondo to come lead. [True, they pretty much did.] Shaq disagreed although not strongly.
